Voices of Hope and Recovery
Voices of Hope and Recovery is a film about the struggles and victories of five Virginians who have overcome the grip of mental illness to live life on their own terms. This 50-minute documentary illustrates the power of hope and the possibility of recovery from serious mental illness. This film was made possible by funds from the federal Mental Health Block Grant.
Seasons With Brian and Julia
Robert Griffith spent much of 2011 with Brian and Julia Anderson, documenting their lives through the seasons on their rural Mathews, Virginia farm. Griffith eloquently captures the trials and challenges they face every day as they struggle to make a living off the land. The film was selected for screenings at the American Documentary Film Festival in Palm Springs, CA, and at the Virginia Film Festival, Charlottesville, VA.
"Likely the most compelling sustainability documentary you'll ever see."
